The nitty gritty

Alright we're just gonna jump  into the hard issues because this is one that is near to my heart. And the issue is *insert drum roll here* abortion!

Honestly if you want to kill your child that's fine and dandy, but let's get some things straight. First I really don't feel like the argument "it's my body i can do what I want" is really a good one because it may be your body, but half of that little zygote inside you belongs to the guy who you did the dirty with, so it's technically a part of him as well. Shouldn't he have some say as to what happens to his half of the zygote?
Second, Abortion is not now nor will it ever be a political issue it will always and forever be a social issue. Therefore, it has no place being talked about by the federal government. It should be up to the states to decide whether abortion is legal or illegal and even then taxpayers should not be expected to pay for a personal choice. This is probably going to upset someone, but even in the circumstance of rape it is your decision to have an abortion. I am not in any way shape or form obligated to support,or pay for your decisions.
Third, and this is probably the most important one. The declaration of Independence clearly states that every human being is guaranteed the pursuit of life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Life being the very first one of those! How can a person be so selfish to deny life of another human being simply because you don't want to deal with the 9 months of being pregnant. How dare you take away the basic human right of living? I know that there are a lot more issues around abortion, but my rights end where another persons begin. So yes it may be your body, but until you can prove without any doubt that the thing growing in your belly is not a human being then you have no right to take away it's right to life.

I don't know, I'm starting to ramble and will probably start repeating myself if I don't stop now, but thats just some food for thought.
